Timetable

The daily timetable for each kindergarten group is carefully planned and forms the basic structure of the day:

Within the timetable the program aims to:

• Offer activities/experiences which are suited to each child’s age and stage of development
• Enhance each child’s knowledge/ skills in a range of curriculum activities

The program aims to offer a balance between the following types of play activities:

• Indoor and outdoor play activities
• Group experiences – small and/or large group time(s)
• Child directed play and teacher directed play activities
• Active and quiet times
• Snack/meal break times

What your child should bring to CSEMETE each day:

• a bag/ backpack large enough to bring snack and take work home,
• sensible shoes for climbing and playing,
• practical clothing,
• a hat in summer,
• a warm coat, hat, scarf, gloves in winter,
• a healthy snack for snack time (note this is a snack NOT lunch)
• a complete change of clothes (just in case! and especially in wet weather)
• a big towel/ bath-robe, swimming glass, swimming cap, swimsuit, flip flopes (JUST for children who attend the swimming lessons)

What your child should leave at home:

• sweets, lollies, chips, roll ups
• toys & other personal belongings
• best clothes
• thongs
• ILLNESSES - Germs spread very quickly, so if you think your child is ill, please keep them at home

The CSEMETE Kindergarten program runs from Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., respectively to 6 p.m.

The holidays are at the same time with the public schools’ holidays.
